It's a shame we can no longer use the trademark symbol.

Can't be too careful with your company. I can feel the devil walking next to me.

lol "I got enough attention before using the signature." Knowing the definition of popular is a magical thing.

I have no clue who you are, or why you're somehow important for needing to clarify who you are at the end of each post. It just makes you look like a dolt.

Sigs are absolutely unnecessary.

I don't usually mind it, however I do have that split second moment of huh? when I catch it. You'd think that the User Name at the top of their post would be enough.

It's funny how forums sit on that line between formal writing and casual conversation. Additions to discussions, or the addressing of topics is, or at least should involve thought, perhaps prompting the signature at the end.

I don't see much use to it, but hey, whom am I?

no , not really needed at all, I find it more annoying and redundant than anything. I don't see why people need to do that since we seen who they were before we read their post.

It comes off as a bit cocky and overconfident.

But where's the line between a legitimate sig and just outright spam?

© is okay but how about ©©©©©©©©©©?

I'd say that a "©©©©©©©©© " at the end of every post someone makes is pretty much waste of space. Copy/pasting stuff is just spam imo.

'©' is not okay.

I know who is posting the content.
Putting a signature under your post content is literally like having your prefix and title bar above and below your post.

Community, we have reached an impasse. I advise we all just agree that the one we have in mind is stupid and annoying and let us be on our way content with that knowledge in the hope that the person will also realize it.

I agree, actually. I should've said it's apparently okay for the mods, because they don't consider it spam.

I usually only sign my threads. Or the updates that I would make on my private group.
It's not necessary, I just kind of enjoy it. Gives a little more individuality to my threads.
