U.S. needs to take that satellite out, asap.

Maybe if we, oh, I dunno, recalibrate the path of a small asteroid via gravitational properties of a large, synthetic object (such as a space station or satellite), we may just be able to redirect it into the Korean satellite's path and destroy it without them having a -blam!- clue as to what happened.
Good idea.
Ill get the glue!

This is coming together nicely

*rubs hands together with a smug expression*

North Koreans now have a Satellite in space that is ready to EMP North America on 12/21/12 =]

That is my theory, some jackass country, such as North Korea, launches nukes and will be the reason the world ends on the 21st just so that it happens.

The World's Greatest Troll!

What if we trolled them before they trolled us? Eh? Ehhh?

That idea may just be crazy enough.....TO GET US ALL KILLED!!

That's it! You're fired from the research team!

-blam!- north korea. What the hell is their problem? Why are they always threatening everyone with missiles? We're diplomats so we don't just blow their dumb asses off the face of the earth. That's class if I do say so myself.

Congratulations North Korea. You've reached the pinnacle of 1960's technology.

Now why don't you focus on feeding your starving people for a change.

I was surprised too, after all the failures they had with launching the satellites...
2 out of 5 is actually a MUCH better start than the US and Soviet Union had when they begun their space race.

Well it makes sense considering the US and Soviet Union were attempting their first launches in the late 50's and 60's.

There's actually a quite brilliant Vice documentary on the matter of Korean culture and indoctrination where the crew actually got inside NK on a tour of why it's the best nation on the planet. It's literally an alien world over there, with such bizarre cultural traditions and dated technology that will make you think you've gone back to the 1960's.
