I agree with the thread creator. Silent cartographer was my second favourite level(Assault on the control room was my first, followed by Halo) They were large, open areas, lots of light, huge ranges. Here's the thing though. What makes the Halo levels different than the Halo2 larger levels(outskirts, metropolis, delta halo) is how much you depend on vehicles and how many vehicles there actually were. Think about it. Silent Cartographer had..no vehicles. Assault on the control room had a few ghost, banshees and one wraith(until you get to the part just pas the hunters which is like a cluster of enemies and vehicles).
You relied more on grunt tactics and had ALOT more ammo for your weapons. Halo3 should take the differences of the two games and combine them? What do you guys think?
