I play Halo CE and I have v1.07 but when I try to play H2 New Mambasa or H2 Zanzibar it says Unable To Join Server. I have the maps downloaded from halomaps.org and put them into the Halo CE maps folder.Ive also tried reinstalling them.My last question is that when Im in the server list my message says something like manual update required get it at microsoft/games/halo...I went there and there wasnt anything there.I hope this is enough info for you to help me.Thanks for your help.

lol

The manual update is always there. Also, are you sure you downloaded them and extracted them into your 'maps' folder?

Thats one thing I thought about so if anyone plays H2 New Mambasa on a dedicated server I would really appreciate the link to the exact map download.Preferably Halomaps.org.

umm make sure the maps in your maps folder are .map files and not .zip or .rar

Because Halo CE is designed to utilize custom user made maps, because of that there needs to be a way to uniquely identify each specific map. When the map is compiled a checksum or unique number is generated that allows to the Halo CE program to compare the two maps - the one on the server and the one on the client - and determine if they are the same. However that number is not exposed to the user so the only way a user can know if the maps are the same is by the map name. The Map name then is the defacto version information that gets exposed to the users. Some map designers have made several versions of a map but maintained the same name for each version. The H2 team is one of them. There are different versions of some of the H2 team's maps that all have the same name.

Because of this version issue Halo Maps http://www.halomaps.org will as a rule not post for download maps that have the same name as one that exists in the file archive.

You most likely have either an older or newer map than is running on the server you are trying to connect to.
