Subject: I don't understand tea drinkers

http://www.last.fm/user/metaldiscussor

First of all, let me preface my post. I understand that females probably love tea. Now lemme get to the point. Tea is just WEAK. I woke up this morning. I had a cold, so I made myself a couple cups of tea. It cleared my nasal passage, only a little bit. It just tasted okay, however had no robustness. Compare tea to coffee now. All you tea drinkers who are easily offended, this is your warning. Coffee is bold and invigorating. I don't see how people can get so involved with tea. I mean, it's okay if you're like me, who got a cold (which surprised me, because I don't usually get afflicted with ailments of the common man). I turned to tea for some quick relief when it was 3 in the morning and all I could do is watch TV and had the notion I could possibility fall asleep again. So I drank some chamomile tea, and i'm so glad I have my coffee now.You get those Brits who swear by the stuff, but come on, really? It's because it's British tradition for them, I suppose.

If you have a sore throat, coffee tastes/feels horrible. I drink both tea and coffee; coffee in the morning and during the day, tea before going to sleep or when I'm ill.

Nope. I guess my throat isn't very sore in that case. Fyi this coffee tastes just as delicious as usual this morning.

If you can still talk it isn't sore enough to even bring up/complain about.

Maybe. For me, even a little soreness makes everything taste bad. Except tea, for some reason.

I wish I had the study on hand to properly reference, however I don't, so you'll have to take this at face value.

The Japanese smoke more than Americans do, generally. Yet the Japanese are less likely than Americans to develop heart disease and lung cancer. The study narrowed the primary reasons down to two: Fish and Green Tea.

Makes sense, tea has some antioxidants that can apparently prevent cancer and other diseases. And fish is just healthier because it has less fat than cows or pigs. Different kind of fat too.

Fish once in a while is good for you, but other than that it is bad due to all of the heavy metals in it.

I don't drink tea to wake me up. I drink tea when I want to relax. Then again, I'm not a puss that needs caffeine, like some addicted druggie.

I don't know man, as someone who enjoys very strong coffee, a rather mild tea can be nice in the evenings.
