That's right. I just dropped some AOL IM protocol.

I hear the main story is okay, while the Mineva's Den DLC is excellent. It's always so cheap too. But money really isn't nearly as precious as time.
So, worth it?

“I didn't want to wake up. I was having a much better time asleep. And that's really sad. It was almost like a reverse nightmare, like when you wake up from a nightmare you're so relieved. I woke up into a nightmare.”

The game was really good, regardless if the first one was better. In my opinion it is a very good game, possibly one of my favorite games ever. I've played the game a total of around 6 times because there are four different endings.

Basically, it was more of the same great stuff we got in the first Bioshock, and I'm perfectly fine with that.

RIP Derek Farley

I thought it was a good sequel. I really liked the parts that put you on the defense. I liked setting a lot of traps.

This. However, I was also disappointed with the multiplayer. It was just an awful addition to the game.

"We live in a special time; the only time where we can observationally verify that we live in a very special time" - Lawrence Krauss.

I was a finalist :P

Enjoyed the aspect of the Big Sisters; damn their screeches were scary, almost got to the point where I didn't want to touch any of the little sisters.

Quick as a razor, sharp as a bullet.

It's like comparing Half-Lifes 1 and 2: the sequel isn't as good as the original, but the original is one of the finest games ever crafted, so it's damn hard to top that.

What BioShock 2 does do better is the gameplay: dual-wielding, a greater variety of foes, different scenarios, it's generally more fun to play than the first game, but lacks the atmosphere, stunning story and originality.

Absolutely. Make sure you play Bioshock 1 first though. Those are fantastic games, truly amazing masterpieces. Art!
