In the introductory Campaign Terminal, yes.

I think his sleeveless arms are quite sexy, if I do say so myself.

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

Basically you have to read 5 novels to understand Halo 4, the didact, and Jul.

Was I the only one rooting for him when he outran the barrage Palmer fired at him?

UNSC turned into dickbags in 343 lore.

Oh yeah, since somebody does not believe what YOU believe; that makes us vapid...
I cannot grasp that what you call "Something happened to nothing, and that nothing became something, and it was smaller than than a period."

No, the campaign ends 6 months before Spartan Ops first starts.

From the books, definitely. I prefer the elites just because of their untainted personalities. I noticed a lot of ONI personnel are -blam!- cuntbags, now.

Maybe in the next novel they'll get what they deserve

I didn't really like the way they were portrayed in Traviss's novels, making them seem bestial and un-intelligent for the race the brought humanity to it's knees, and their reasons were stupid for trying to continue the fight against humanity, but I do hope they go the route of Arbiter and his faction. Never understood why they didn't just show them Thel's conversations with 343.

Anywho, here's hoping Halo 5 is about Chief getting into ONI's treachery.

You do not find it in the game. It was released to everyone on Halo Waypoint.

I think the reason for that has to do with the fact that Halo 4 terminals are "Domain Terminals". In the first level, though, you are not on Requiem yet and are in no position to contact the Domain. You'll notice that terminals on every other level in the game appear in areas near other Forerunner technology.

To be honest his story is really repetative.

Well yea, I liked the novels themselves, but at the same time, my dislike for ONI grew. The elites seemed to look like they're the bad guys, which is not the case.

Initially, Jul didn't even have intent on humanity's complete elimination- he was undecided. But after all the events that transpired, he has a pretty good damned right for his hate against humanity even if it was just ONI who was responsible for all the -blam!- going down.

And yea, I anticipate ONI might play a role as one of the enemies in Halo 5, if not, 6.
