"The epitome of submission is not defeat, but acceptance."
~Me

So, over 3 weeks ago I was pushing back up small-to-medium-sized trees that were toppled over during Sandy.
Now, I may have gotten an allergic reaction to the bark on my right middle finger, but I'm not sure.

- had it for over 2.5 weeks
- itches sometimes; other times it doesn't
- is swollen
- has not spread
- retains water in little circular pockets

Exhibit A

Exhibit B

Exhibit C

P.S.- Ignore the claws, I need them to help me capture my "prey".

NON FACET NOBIS CALCITRARE VESTRUM PERNÇ¢UM

Possibly Poison Oak, Ivy or Sumac. Don't adjust 'downstairs' with that hand, might spread if you do.

If it's nothing too serious, I'd prefer not. I'm just curious what this could be.

Gathering suggestions before doing anything.

Yes
Then go to the -blam!- doctor.

Recon Number 54 -
If they are still looking, then while holding the snarl, I let drool start to drip from my mouth, I stand, curl my fingers into claws and with a hunched over crouch, I then make slow and deliberate steps towards them. When I get close enough, I let them hear my agonized and gasping growls and then, if they continue to stare, when I get within arm's reach? I kiss them on the nose, and run away giggling.

You will want to see a Dermatologist about that. Since it has been there for over 2 weeks it would be a good idea to see your doctor soon.

It does remind me of a plaster shrivel, have you been putting plasters (Band Aids) on it a lot?

Barely use bandages at all. Usually just let things bleed out/ heal on their own and aerate.

Good, Put some antiseptic like germoline* on it and see your doctor soon.

* If you know you are allergic or unsure don't use it.

I was hoping it'd go away on its own, but I suppose not.

Obviously going to a doctor would be wise.
However, it only looks like dry skin ( I had it on my middle finger once and I just used some cream and it went away )
