A cornered fox is more dangerous than a jackal.

And from FOX, two phantoms were born.

So I watched after caving into all that hype about it being OMG AMAZING film

..And it wasn't that bad, but I couldn't feel with any of the characters, I didn't care when the black girl died, and I just didn't find the protagonists likeable.

So what did you think of it?

Fans of the book, how did you react?

no its legit, i used coordinates, set weapon timers the works.

That movie was seriously one of the worst movies I'd have ever seen.

Don't LOL if you aren't L'inOL.

Halo: Reach
Halo 3
Halo ODST

The book is much better and I imagine that the movie would be better after reading the book too.

It was implied there was a lot of action, but I couldn't see half of it due to the camera.

You'd probably dislike the movie more after you read because you would see how badly the director butchered the book.

No no, don't listen to this guy.

The movie was seriously bad and a total disgrace compared to the books. There were so many ridiculous errors and misrepresented situations and characters, it was a total shame.

Just read the books and never watch the next two movies that come out.

Since the second has a new director, I might give it a try if initial reviews from intelligent critics are better.

I'm glad they got rid of that guy.

Link or it didn't happen.

Quick question, is there ever any movie that lives up to the book that it's based on without it being spread across several movies?

But still, the movie was awful compared to the book.

Charlie and The Chocolate Factory w/ Depp
The Lincoln Lawyer
The Namesake

these are just a few.

No, if you have read the book, you will notice the huge mistakes the director made.

Any of the Harry Potter Books pre-OoTP?

No thought required, just spawn and GOOOOOOOOOOO

Why not just read/watch the original? To be honest, Hunger Games was a REALLY bad remake...

Life is a journey, if you spend all of it with your nose in your map, you may miss some of the best parts.

The books are always better than the movie. The books offer more character development and tend to not rush past parts. You also understand some things more compared to the movie. You feel emotionally attached to more characters compared to the movie. That is why you didn't feel any emotion to that character that died in the movie because she didn't even appear BEFORE that part.

You know what needs to happen? HBO needs to create three movies for the series. If they could pull off the casting like all of those involved for Game of Thrones, that would be one hell of a production.

I knew that I was going to hate the movie. I convinced myself to see it at midnight, and somehow just somehow managed not to kill every 13 yearold there wearing a "team gale / peeta" shirt.

The PG-13 rating is what ruins me. It's what immediately tells me that the production / writers/ directors are pandering to corporate / shareholder pressure to appeal to that ridiculous demographic for absolute maximum viewership at the cost of staying true to the original books.

Part of what made the books so great, to me at least were the horrific images it made you imagine. The grand vista's to the tracker jacker trip, Capitol city, the FREAKING MUTA'S, bah.

But what we got was a PG-13 branded watered down edgy romantic movie. None of the deaths were portrayed as provocatively as they were in the books. None of the crucial scenes were depicted.

I once reviewed it while playing TERA, and someone recorded it when I had no idea he did. I laugh about it every freaking time.

Lord of the Rings. Though, it was fantastic for different reasons than the book.
