A competitive players main goal is to win.
A casuals main goal is to have fun regardless of whether that results in a win or loss.
It has nothing to do with individual skill or knowledge, it has to do with the reason you play.

ITT: Ignorant Halo fanboys who are judging a game they've never played.
I've played it and the multiplayer sucks in my opinion. Might as well mention that I quit playing Halo 4 after 2 weeks too.If you have played it then I respect your opinion. I just hate the fanboys that say it's "copy paste" when it really isn't, they wouldn't know.
The game isn't copy paste, scorestreaks for example were great addition, but it suffers from poor gameplay. I don't know why they had to increase the killtimes from Call Of Duty 4. Now it feels like it's connection vs connection and who sees first, wins. Also, it's been a while since Call Of Duty has had more than 1 or 2 good maps..
Shame to see the game series turn out to what it is today, Sure, it is popular, but I wish they wouldn't have -blam!-ed with the gameplay from Call of Duty 4 so much, since that was even with it's brainfarts like Frag x3 and Martyrdom, a brilliant game.
BO2's campaign gets my approval though, it was surprisingly good, I hated MW2's campaign, skipped BO1's campaign because I thought it'd be same crap, it was the same crap in MW3, but BO2 actually had good story.
On-topic, my K/D is around 2, bit over 3 in TDM gametypes, but I only played till rank 45.
