Feet first into hell

Hey Flood, I'm planning on getting the Bose QC15 but I was wondering if I could attach the equalizer I got from my Skullcandy SLYRs to give them some more bass when needed.
Is this possible?

Hmmm... why Bose? They're good headphones but you pay a lot more than you need to.

You could always try contacting Bose directly, but I'd be careful with attaching a non-sanctioned amp (you mean amp right) to a different pair of headphones. You wouldn't want to blow them out.

Oh I see.... well to be honest with you the Bose you are after have plenty of bass already. I don't see why your eq couldn't work with them though, but you got to respect the hardware. The headphones you are considering have a sweet spot, if you overload the bass they won't perform as well as they could.

Maybe you could get down to your local best buy or wherever and ask if you could try the headphones with your eq?

Thanks, man. I'll try that. If the eq gives too much bass, I'll just leave it off.

You pay even more for the Beats brand than the Bose brand. Again they're good headphones but again you can get better for less.

If you are truly after some proper proper audiophile quality headphones then look at these.
