So heres my problem: My skyrim disc is starting to get scratchy enough so that it's beginning to affect game. I had the idea to borrow a copy from a buddy so I could download that copy to my hard drive (360) so I could play it relatively glitch-free, but then I remembered downloading it to your hard drive did some funky crap. There is some stuff on the web about Bethesda addressing it, but not much. Any of you guys have any experience with this?

MEDIC!

I installed to the hard-drive the day I got it. It's surprising that it only needs one disc.

Any issues? I'm about to go AFK for a bit but I will be back in a few minutes.

This. I installed it as well, no issues ever.

I would suggest getting an Xbox that doesn't scratch your discs that badly.

Or better yet, a PC.

Doc: "i'm a pacifist"
Caboose: "your a thing that babies suck on?"
Tucker: "no dude, that's a pedephile"
Church: "tucker, i think he means a pacifier"

To my knowledge you will still need the same disk used for the transfer to actually play the game.

That seems unlikely....

You do still need a disc to play it after you installed it to the HDD. I'm pretty sure you need the corresponding disk, but I could be wrong. I know if you bring it down from XBL then it's considered digital content and you do not need a disk.

for Bethesda games, PC is the optimal choice. Not a PC fanboy, just saying. I played Fallout 3 on the xbox then got New Vegas on the PC when I learned about MODS!!!!1!1!!
