Subject: Why do stupid threads get praised, but ones that were worked hard on

I'm hated by many, but loved by none.

get very little praise. I noticed on the flood the simpler you make the thread the more replies you'll get. Why is that?

  • 12.12.2012 2:00 PM PDT

Because people are too lazy to read.

  • 12.12.2012 2:01 PM PDT

Because this is the flood.

Because words imply intelligence, and the Flood doesn't like that.

Haha, looks like we have "fresh meat" here on The Flood.

This is a great thread.

Wish I had the attention span to the entire OP.

~Thread-killer~

This is the Flood, what more do you expect?

  • 12.12.2012 2:06 PM PDT

Where's the praise in this thread?

  • 12.12.2012 2:06 PM PDT

Please stop complaining about the 'death of a loved one' it's my job. They probably deserved it anyways. Here's a warning, if you keep making pentagrams out of the neighbors livestock I will personally come to your house and kill everyone you love. Now leave me alone, I got to get back to work.
~M.D~

I've tried to make quality, good threads. No one gives a -blam!-.

Regardless of how hard you work on a thread, doesn't make it worth reading.

Well right now we have a 9 page thread full of nerds fapping to Sanghelli forum secks

  • 12.12.2012 2:10 PM PDT

I have been wondering the same thing. Whenever i put a lot of work into a thread, it gets a lot of hate. Also, you seem new here, so i will tell you a story that takes place a few months back.

Back in the summer, some idiot who didn't like long threads some how invented a meme titled "TL;DR". (to long, didn't read) Since the flood is lazy and idiotic, they decided to use this every time there was a long thread. Just about everybody used it. But when the school year started, and everybody was in a higher class with higher standards, the flood soon became less, and less lazy, and today, the term TL;DR doesn't appear as frequently.

Well i guess i answered your question OP. The flood is lazy (or it was) and doesn't want to read long threads.

  • 12.12.2012 2:14 PM PDT

Sometimes, I dream about cheese.

I once made a thread that was titled, "This thread is a spaceship" and what I wrote for the OP was "Zoom zoom zoom"

I got a few hundred replies as it turned into one of my favorite Rp experiences on the flood.

why a murder train?Well, The Blues revolve around trains, and I'm trying to be Blues-y about it.
I think a t-rex sounds better, I mean Murder T-rex. just think about it.
This made my day.

>Implying that meme hasn't been around for -blam!- ever.
