I mean if people cannot agree simply on what is right or wrong then how can people make decisions pertaining to economics and politics confidently if they can't even agree on morals? Failing to share a moral belief system will eventually cause the destruction of the West.. it has already began its decline.

You look around. You fire your weapon before you realize.
Its just me. I fall and you walk up. You cry why.
When i pop up. You look at me in wonder. I say,"ASSUMING DIRECT CONTROL."
You bend to my will and go to a cliff, walk off, and fall.
The last thing you hear is me stating as fact,"All will fail the battle of life, you just went early"

We already agree on a lot of moral things.

well if that's your demise, then you're -blam!- as hell. The west is more divided than a jigsaw puzzle.

The human element always mucks things up.

Yeah! Who needs freedom and opinions?

OP in a nutshell:

> We don't all agree on morals
> Something
> Something else
> Western civilization will collapse

Logic is clearly not his strong point.

The strongest Rivals are also the strongest allies.

depends on what type of morals?

religious morals should stay out of hospitals. the only people who should be able to choose if an abortion happens are the possible parents.

A more in-depth dismissal: OP's argument would be valid if our species required complete agreement for any law to be passed. But it doesn't. Governments are, at heart, the imposition of a universal moral code on a population. I don't know if you'd noticed, but governments exist, our civilization exists, thus OP is moot. We can work together without universal agreement.

That depends on how you define 'set moral system.'

I should be able to do whatever I want to do as long as I am not violating anybody's rights.

Please do not send me group invites.

You should try the middle east. They love your type of thinking.

These issues will certainly collapse the entire nation.

I've got a fan!

I've always found moral relativism to be a bit naive. It's apparent the global societies are moving towards a single set of morals, albeit very slowly. The idea that certain truths can change just because a lot of people want it to is a bit ridiculous.
