Allons-y!

T4R. I haven't watched many of the older episodes. I haven't even gotten past the first season, actually, but is it ever explained why this is so storyline wise or was it just a cosmetic choice by the producers?

Considering it's more of a quickened reincarnation cycle, I would except them to come out young.

Can't be.

*SPOILERS*

When the 10th regenerates, he says he "Doesn't want to go.", so if he just wanted to stay the same, then he could have just chose to stay the same.

I Love Lamp. And Ender's Game. Don't tell Lamp.

DOn't know. I have a question for Doctor Who fans, though; When the episode where the Dr. is about to regenerate airs, does everyone know in advance that this will be the actor's final episode, or is it a surprise?

I actually only watched one episode on aired TV, and it was a mid-season episode. The rest I watched on Netflix, so I didn't really know.. Though it did say in the description of the 10th's that there would be a new Doctor.

Still waiting for series 7 to get on there...

By the power of truth, I, while living, have conquered the universe.

Troughton wasn't particularly old when he had the role. In fact, next to Matt Smith, I'd say Hartnell, Troughton and Pertwee were the best (especially the latter).

It's possible the channel will announce it, or show it in the preview, but the episodes prior to the finale don't tease it.

Remember kids: when Uncle Delta tells you he has sweeties, he isn't lying.

Now get in the van.

Oh we get told of who the new Doctor is a fair while before the old one gets replaced. BBC makes a big deal out of it.
I think if you show any interest in the series you'll be well aware of it being the last show for the current Doctor. The Beeb doesn't hide it

They should next time, though. It'd make the regeneration much more dramatic.

Im going to be sad to see matt Smith go. I wasn't a fan of the of 9th doctor but 10 and 11 were amazing.
