I find it rather morbid that shootings get national coverage, because the coverage always focuses on the shooter, in many ways showcasing them.

It makes me think that some crazy would look at it as a good thing, and that if they do such things, then they will be on national news, regardless of they are alive or dead after a shooting.

I really think such cases should not be covered at all, that way any future crazy person won't be able to get instant national news coverage.

Does anyone else think shootings shouldn't make national news ?

But that "good tv" could very well encourage someone else to do the same thing, and then get on the news =(

It really should be against the law for news stations to cover a shooting.
