THERE IS OVER 9000 HALO RINGS!!!!!!!!!!!
With the Doctor continuing his timey-wimey adventures this Christmas, I have decided to give the top eleven episodes from the revived series. Well, Geronimo and Allons-y!
11. The Christmas Invasion- This episode is one of my favorites because it officially introduced David Tennant as the tenth Doctor and began to hint at Torchwood.
10. Bad Wolf/Parting of the Ways- I love these episodes because they showed the Daleks has a larger force and provided cameos to famous British TV personalities and shows, like The Weakest Link.
9. The Girl in the Fireplace- Possibly one of the most straight forward confusing episode (if this makes sense), this gave light on a very important historical figure and gave a high amount of humor. It was in fact sad though that the Doctor was unable to take the Madame in his TARDIS, but he did give it an attempt.
8. Amy's Choice- I always liked this episode because it fleshed out the relationship between Amy and boys. With Rory believing that Amy loves the Doctor more than him, this episode confirmed Amy's true feelings for Rory, sacrificing herself to be with him instead of staying with the Doctor.
7. The Eleventh Hour- The official introduction to Matt Smith as the eleventh Doctor, this episode coined the popular "regeneration cravings" that constantly change and the saying "I AM the Doctor"
6. Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead- Showing off a onetime but deadly enemy, the Vashta Nerada (I think), this gave a reason to be affraid of the dark.
5. The Time of Angels/Flesh and Stone- Giving another reason to be afraid of statues, the Weeping Angels will be one of the most recognizable and deadliest enemies the Doctor has ever faced.
4. The Doctor's Wife- An interesting look to the personality of the TARDIS herself, this episode gave a darker side to every member of the group, with the Doctor's mass murder of the timelords, Amy's divide between the Doctor and Rory, and Rory's two thousand year wait for the Pandorica to open.
3. Army of Ghosts/Doomsday- Possibly the greatest battle between the two archenemies of the Doctor, and officially showing Torchwood, this two part finale is sad, but incredibly awesome.
2. Asylum of the Daleks- Possibly the greatest episode to star the Daleks, this episode not only gives cameos of past and present Daleks, but introduces a side character played by our latest companion.
And finally number one...
1. Blink- The introduction to the Weeping Angels, this episode also coins the term, "Wibbly Wobbly, Timey-Wimey." Despite not having the Doctor as the true main character in the episode, this episode is truly the best.
I am so, so sorry, if your favorite episodes are not up here or not as high up. This is based off of my own opinion. Now, let's get ready for the Christmas special.
