THERE IS OVER 9000 HALO RINGS!!!!!!!!!!!

With the Doctor continuing his timey-wimey adventures this Christmas, I have decided to give the top eleven episodes from the revived series. Well, Geronimo and Allons-y!

11. The Christmas Invasion- This episode is one of my favorites because it officially introduced David Tennant as the tenth Doctor and began to hint at Torchwood.

10. Bad Wolf/Parting of the Ways- I love these episodes because they showed the Daleks has a larger force and provided cameos to famous British TV personalities and shows, like The Weakest Link.

9. The Girl in the Fireplace- Possibly one of the most straight forward confusing episode (if this makes sense), this gave light on a very important historical figure and gave a high amount of humor. It was in fact sad though that the Doctor was unable to take the Madame in his TARDIS, but he did give it an attempt.

8. Amy's Choice- I always liked this episode because it fleshed out the relationship between Amy and boys. With Rory believing that Amy loves the Doctor more than him, this episode confirmed Amy's true feelings for Rory, sacrificing herself to be with him instead of staying with the Doctor.

7. The Eleventh Hour- The official introduction to Matt Smith as the eleventh Doctor, this episode coined the popular "regeneration cravings" that constantly change and the saying "I AM the Doctor"

6. Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead- Showing off a onetime but deadly enemy, the Vashta Nerada (I think), this gave a reason to be affraid of the dark.

5. The Time of Angels/Flesh and Stone- Giving another reason to be afraid of statues, the Weeping Angels will be one of the most recognizable and deadliest enemies the Doctor has ever faced.

4. The Doctor's Wife- An interesting look to the personality of the TARDIS herself, this episode gave a darker side to every member of the group, with the Doctor's mass murder of the timelords, Amy's divide between the Doctor and Rory, and Rory's two thousand year wait for the Pandorica to open.

3. Army of Ghosts/Doomsday- Possibly the greatest battle between the two archenemies of the Doctor, and officially showing Torchwood, this two part finale is sad, but incredibly awesome.

2. Asylum of the Daleks- Possibly the greatest episode to star the Daleks, this episode not only gives cameos of past and present Daleks, but introduces a side character played by our latest companion.

And finally number one...

1. Blink- The introduction to the Weeping Angels, this episode also coins the term, "Wibbly Wobbly, Timey-Wimey." Despite not having the Doctor as the true main character in the episode, this episode is truly the best.

I am so, so sorry, if your favorite episodes are not up here or not as high up. This is based off of my own opinion. Now, let's get ready for the Christmas special.

There are eleven Doctors, so eleven episodes seemed appropriate.

-Avatar-

I work for the Department of Defense.

Good list, but you missed Midnight.

I mean, the sense of urgency and helplessness of that episode, and the perfect portrayal of how weak and pathetic humans are is just so well done.

I know, right, I love them too. I actually used to be scared of them for a long time, as in real life scared.

He likes to go one step beyond.

My favorite part of Blink was the end.

"Doctor, the migration's starting."

That had me and my sister laughing for a while. Only a show like Doctor Who could pull that off.

Allons-y!

I love Bad Wolf because it was my first episode that got me hooked on the series.

Also, does anyone know when Series 7 is going on Netflix? Someone told me it was on today, but I checked and it wasn't there.

Don't get me wrong, I love that episode, it is in my top 20, but not my top 11.

My estimate would be by when the entirety of Series 7 ends. The first half has been aired, but not completed. A good date would be by the Christmas of 2013.

Gamertag - Rdog 11

Call me Rdog, not RdOG or RdOG1507. I made that username when I thought it was cool to use alternating capital and lowercase letters...

I searched "Doctor Who" in Google images. Now I don't want to ever watch that show. As if the name didn't sound stupid enough, it looks like Twilight set in the future without vampires.

THAT HAIR!!!!!!!!!!!!! :O

If you watch one episode, I can almost guarentee you will be hooked. You base your opinion on images and looks of the lead actors. There is only one episode involving any "vampire-like" aliens, but they do not sparkle. Besides start with Series 1 with Christopher Eccleston. And, our leading ladies do in fact show emotion, unlike Kristen Stewart.

Ello, I'm the Doctor. I'm a 900 year old Time Lord from the planet Galifrey. I travel the universe in my TARDIS, which stands for Time And Relative Dimension In Space. And yes, it's bigger on the inside. Stop getting so overwhelmed by it.
Allons-y!

In no particular order:
Blink
Angels take manhattan
Daleks in manhattan/Evolution of the daleks
Silence in the library/Forest of the dead
Girl in the fireplace
The eleventh hour
The end of time
Doomsday
Asylum of the daleks
The empty child/the Doctor dances

It has absolutely nothing to do with Twilight in any way whatsoever.

OT: Lots of the Matt Smith episodes are really psychological so I feel like I'm much more heavily drawn towards them because they really are television as an art form in the purest sense of the phrase.
