Don't judge a book by its cover, unless it has bacon on the cover, then it is a good book.

When you and your spouse know your financially ready for a child (or two). When you and your spouse have done what you've wanted and are ready to begin a family.

I work for the Department of Defense.

When you and your partner are financially stable, having a house is a plus. Able to afford an extra 500 per month at a bare minimum, and when you're positive you can afford all extra expenses like insurance, savings plan for college, etc.

It's not like there is a "right time". You have to evaluate your entire life and make sure you're financially ready.

Actually, when you're 15. That way, you'll still be 16 when the kid comes.
