What house has a rocket pod, has legs, and has a long narrow barrel that probably shoots something powerful?

Sounds like you're describing the lower half of my body, actually.

3. The plot seemed simplistic, un-Halo like, and childish. Also I disliked how much it focused on Cortana, is seemed to have focused more on her than on moving the story forward.)

I strongly dislike the Cortana character. She basically spoon feeds the story for the campaign levels I've played so far.

I'm tempted to finish the campaign because I know she dies, but I'm afraid they'll try to make it a tear-jerker instead of the celebration it should be.

Yeah, I always liked her, but in this game they made seem extremely -blam!- which bothers me, especially during the ending scene. (Not the mention the whole scene doesn't make sense) One more thing is the game seems over-feminized.

Dude at the end I thought she was going to kiss him.

Ugh...

First on a BWU.. yeah, I'm cool.

ODST;MYTHIC Screenshot winner! One of the first to get their hands on the mythic map pack.

In Halo 3 and Halo: Reach, I prefer to stay on my feet, use weapons, and I can do good doing this. I could hold my own.

In Halo 4, to do good, you practically have to use vehicles, you have to be a cheap bastard. Don't have a power weapon? Well then don't bother going into battle alone. You'll die if the encounter isn't a 1v1.

First Halo game that I lost interest after the first week of playing. Halo 3 held me for years, Halo Reach for a couple of months. Halo 4 just gets boring.

Probably because you'e grown up and not as interested in games as before.

No thought required, just spawn and GOOOOOOOOOOO

I didn't like many of the mechanics introduced in Reach, and Halo 4 is more of a sequel to Reach, rather than 3... Thats why I don't like it.

Grab a dmr and don't get close... they still die in the same 1.6~ seconds.

Agreed, but it took many of the better parts of both games.

I loved halo 2 and 3, and I hated reach, I really like halo 4.

Everything except the campaign one. I actually enjoyed that. Even though it was a bit too much on the feminine fan fiction side at times. And the whole, "woah cowboy" line. I just don't even know what to say about that.

Yeah, that whole moment I thought was out of place. It's always been strong friendship between the two. But now. It's love apparently? Between a man and a AI? Something Bungie would never do.

I dislike it because:
-DMR, Boltshot and Active Camo loadouts.
-Warthog, and to lesser extent, ghost gameplay is ruined.
-Killtimes just doesn't feel right.
-Instant respawning and JiP
-No BTB without Infinity slayer or multi team (i'm sure this will be fixed though).
-As an European I'm stuck at level 70 and only God knows when 343i is going to release the rest of specializations for the rest of us.
-Ragerok, Exile and Complex are overplayed.

Maps. God damn, that game needs maps. Badly.
If they stopped blowing up to 80% of their development budget on 8 hour campaigns imagine how many cool multiplayer maps they could make.

I had both Black Ops2 and Halo4 (traded in BO2). You'd have to pay me to finish those campaigns when I could be playing Borderlands 2 or DARK SOULS.

Boring ranking system. It's not fun grinding ranks for no reason. I need an goal to actually care about playing. It's an alright game.

Just waiting for that TU.

Sometimes I am tempted to quit gaming. I can no longer play without seeing ponyphags, horrendously bad teammates and mexicans.

Gaming community, I want you to know that you suck.

All?

I'm in love with Jesus and proud of it!

The poor map design combined with the unfairness of random ordnance drops, lack of on map weapons, and wonky mechanics make the game frustrating. I also miss the 1 kill = 1 point system, the scoring is terrible and the points allotted seem random.

Never in a Halo game have I ever averaged 8 assists per match. I don't know how this game reads kills, but it feels off.

  • 12.12.2012 10:05 PM PDT

Yeah the ordinance drops are extremely unfair, I'll agree with you on that. Making something spawn less often does not offset the fact that damage boost is broken, in fact it makes it worse since the other team can't retaliate with their own damage boost. Personally, I wish they would have made ordinance drops customizable, and balanced them by looking at what people are using most often and how many kills people are getting for a few minutes after getting an ordinance drop.

The human element always mucks things up.

Moves too fast and you are given crap shields and health.

Goat was famous. Irie was infamous. Gh0st was FaMaS.

My stats in Halol 4

Typical Waypoint post.
no it's "its got to go" you wouldn't say the "it is got to go" would you?

I dislike Halo 4 for a number of gameplay decisions I'm not in the mood for explaining.

-CTF
-Instant Spawn.
-Join in Progress
-No medium sized/small maps outside of Haven, aka Giant ring with lifts.

I don't always ban people but when I do I laugh uncontrollably...that's if I was a Forum Ninja.

Truth is a matter of perception.

The Button

I like the campaign but I just have a few of the problems with the game.

Forge: There are way too many barriers. There are barriers where there shouldn't even be barriers and they're way too low in some places. Take Ravine as an example, the mountains at the back of the map are perfect for an idea of mine but I can't build it because of a barrier.
They also took off precision forging(the zoom in) which makes it really, really hard to do some pieces.

Custom Games: The Flood is really my only problem. Just because I can't change their weapons, that ruins a ton of gametypes that could have been done before. Don't get me wrong, I like the infected weapon idea but it would have been better if it was every weapon.

Matchmaking: I don't really like the idea of custom loadouts, it adds too many variables. Halo's original way was amazing. Everyone started out with the same gun(s) and if you wanted a new one you picked it up. That made everything an even playing field, that's not there with 4.
On top of that out of about 30 weapons, 16 of them are power weapons. That's insane, there shouldn't be that many.
The join in progress system doesn't work with Halo.

Spartan Ops: My main problem is that it's the same maps every time, it just gets old.

That's about all of my problems with the game.

It's fun at times, the maps are my biggest issue.

Yeah, that's my biggest issue with the game too. Not a fan of random global ordinance, Specs and numerous other things that have been a staple of past Halo games that aren't present.

343 bit off more than they could chew to deliver a great MP Halo game. Maybe next time.
