'sup? i don't really follow comics much but i really liked Garth Ennis' Punisher Max series.

what more should i read comics/graphic novel wise? "Crossed" worth a try?

i'd prefer a collection or book format, not individual issues.

so what "gritty" comics are you reading?

They must be good if you took the time to read all three. Once you get hooked you want to know what happens next. Hell when we went out to the field for 2 weeks I finished all three of them, it made the time pass by so much faster, great reads IMO.

The graphic novelization of Dante's Divine Comedy.
i've read the book in a poor translation and now i'm reading it again in antiquated but accurate english.

they have a graphic novel version?

also, game was good, i see how it was made as a loose interpretation and nothing more...cool if it could have had a sequel.

Yes. It's cut down quite a bit, because of it's a graphic novel, but it's very well done. I really need to play the game.

Trust me on this, Deadpool Pulp.

This is sooooo well worth it.

i meant the dark sense of humor kind of gritty. one of the things i loved about Punisher Max.

  • 12.12.2012 10:50 PM PDT

Mreh.

V for Vendetta and Watchmen are the only comics that I've read. Both are pretty gritty, but I think Watchmen goes into more detail with it.
