Subject: What kind of villain does the Flood like?

A competitive players main goal is to win.
A casuals main goal is to have fun regardless of whether that results in a win or loss.
It has nothing to do with individual skill or knowledge, it has to do with the reason you play.

-Silent/Evil/Ruthless
(Doesn't say much, but would rather make a point with a bullet than with words. Someone the reader can't predict.

You described it pretty good. This is my choice.

This applies to good guys too. "Cut the crap and do what needs to be done" mentality.

-Psychotic/Intelligent/Rational Motives
(Uses cryptic speech to explain rational yet harsh motives, but is still crazy and still wants to kill the protagonist. Someone the reader may or may not agree with depending on their personal beliefs/opinions.)

This. It has Raul Menendez written all over it.

Cole

Why so serious?

Skuldier? Never heard of him...

-Intelligent/Calm/Evil
(Will out-smart and insult the protagonist and keep coming back like an old-school comic book villain. Someone the reader resents.)

-Silent/Evil/Ruthless
(Doesn't say much, but would rather make a point with a bullet than with words. Someone the reader can't predict.

A mix between these two. Villain will start off as number one but when all cards are down he goes to number two.

I'm also a fan of when the villain hides in the background. The master manipulator. Usually the greater evil lurking in the shadows, behind what the hero perceives to be the real threat, pulling the strings.

You look around. You fire your weapon before you realize.
Its just me. I fall and you walk up. You cry why.
When i pop up. You look at me in wonder. I say,"ASSUMING DIRECT CONTROL."
You bend to my will and go to a cliff, walk off, and fall.
The last thing you hear is me stating as fact,"All will fail the battle of life, you just went early"

Pshychotic/intelligent/simple, yet complex motives/enjoys what he does

That's the kind I like.

The Architect from the Matrix.

For sure dude. Even for only having less than ten minutes of screen time, the Architect remains as one of the more iconic villains in sci-fi.

The Flood looks like the type of villain that is nerdy, forever a virgin, wearing glasses, plotting his revenge against a jock that took the girl of his "dreams" that he used to fap to off pictures on Facebook and Instagram.

Flood also looks like he plays video games all day because he is afraid of living in the real world so he isolates himself in the digital world.

Never say you're bored. Never say you're satisfied with the world. Never stop doubting or questioning things. Always wonder. Always think. But always take time to drop your guard, you don't have to be smart all the time.

I vary between a Complete Monster and one that does things just because it's fun, the Joker for example. Though always Savvy and not incompetent, unless it's played for laughs.

Cosmic horrors that are above morality (H.P Lovecraft's work) are up there too.

Call me Ares

"Learning is never wrong. Even learning how to kill isn't wrong. Or right. It's just a thing to learn, a thing I can teach you." -Chade
Nothing is true but perception. Everything is permitted but a lie.

The Spartan 1 Project

Imagine Sylar. He's a cool, likeable character, but the things he does for power are despicable. You respect his power, like him, but there is no doubt that he's evil.

Straight Edge.

Percy Wetmore is still my favorite villain.

Someone like Colonel Walter Kurtz, someone insane, yet poetic.

I do not want to stop asking. I do not ask to stop wanting.

Mix of first and third. That's what I often strive for when I'm writing.

Studies show that men think about sex every 7 seconds. I do my best to eat hotdogs in under 6, just so things don't get weird.

Please allow me to introduce Myself
I'm a man of wealth and taste
I've been around for a long, long year
Stole many a man's soul and faith

The Magnificent Bastard will always be the one. Even against forces of nature, they win. Even when they lose, they still win.
