Halo: Reach was still getting 600,000 players a day back in March.
It did?

a day= 24 hour period. Why would anyone care about the peak?

Simple higher peak means there are more people playing the game.

It kind of doesnt, but ok.

Proving once again, that halocharts doesn't mean -blam!-.

I don't think you understand the situation.
What's the difference between the OP and those bias charts?

Halocharts measures peak activity what is in the OP measures overall activity. Peak activity is more important for the most part. As for people using Halocharts to say Halo 4 is dying it is in comparison to peak activity of Reach and Halo 3.
Why does the peak matter, if anyone is doing something in the game then they are still playing it. Not everyone can be on at once, time zones and all.

People are basing off of that, apparently.

What? Peak just encourages dumb people to ramble "DIS GAM ARE DYING BECAUSE IT ONLY GET 100,000 PLAYER EVERY HOUR". Peak is incredible unimportant for determining a game's online "health".

By that logic Halo 3 was bad it's peaks were barely any better. Proof if you need me to. I have my links primed and ready.

I swear that list is fixed.

Not really since overall activity is roughly the same as the peak amount of people it is just an easier way to measure how many people play the game. The main reason they are for the most part the same is overall activity is affected by the peak since the higher the peak the more people playing the game.

  • 12.13.2012 1:21 PM PDT

It's funny how it's proven #2 in activity and people are still trying to hate and argue about it!

Huh? Halo 3 peaked at like 200-300k every day for 3 year. As for proof that is too hard to do on a phone.

I'm not even going to try to argue about this. It's mainly just opinion based.

I'm impressed that Skyrim is #7 a year after release.
Especially being that it's a single-player game, and games now revolve all around multiplayer (or at least a large portion of them do).

Here you go from 2007 onward, just click around. But Halo 3 always had a 24h counter as far as i know.

Well it is sad that the game went from a daily peak of about 400k the first week, to what we have now at about 120k.

  • 12.13.2012 1:37 PM PDT

Yay, Good for Halo 4
Cant wait to play it again. So a great game

I'm really not surprised. I have no damn idea why people judged this game by it's daily peak when Halo: Reach was still getting 600,000 players a day back in March.
No it wasn't. I was there.

No point in putting something funny, clever or informative here. Most probably im going to get perma-banned anyway.

Well, the list could always be full of -blam!-... Considering it comes from MS...

Just saying.

Nah that would make it too obvious. Though I doubt the list isn't accurate.
