We need to get not fat. I hereby order all public and private schools to teach nutrition & fitness class to all students. Each year getting more advanced than the last. The first part of the class will be lecture and the second part will be fitness training. The class will meet three times per week. During fitness training students will have three options: strength training, strength & anaerobic training, or aerobic and calisthenics.

They are, and majority of overweight people I see are adults, not kids. So this nutrition class crap isnt getting us anywhere apparently.

Shakes Magic 8 Ball

I thankfully discovered how the body needs nutrition. I actually fast every day, 165 lbs 5'11" reporting in.

Kids are average. We need all the students (girls included) to be pulling 2x bodyweight by graduation and squat at least 1.5x.

Um... why? For sports I understand, but an average highschool student, there is no need and that seems unneeded.

Not everywhere in the US. PE was an elective course at my high school.

  • 12.13.2012 3:18 PM PDT

No thanks why should I need to take a extra exercise class?

Oh I see. There were mandatory ones to graduate at my high school as well as a lot of elective ones.

With courses aimed at teaching self discipline coinciding those classes, so we don't all go home and eat delicious chocolate cake.

For my highschool, Health class is mandatory and P.E. is required for 2 years.

Still a lot of fat people, I blame video games.

To attain a moderate level of fitness. Stronger bones, muscles, and heart works wonders for activities of everyday living.

True, my school required more than that, but there still are a decent amount of overweight people.

Every school I know of requires PE class of some kind. Even when I was in college I had to.
