For the way they have spaced out content for Halo 4. By the time I had finished the campaign on Normal and Legendary, spent a lot of time on the holo deck, and played the first two episodes of Spartan Ops, roughly three weeks had passed. Then Spartan Ops Episode Three came out, blew me away, and guaranteed my return to the mode in the following weeks in which I had very similar experiences. In the downtime I spent countless hours in Forge... uh... forging... a space station.

This is starting to seem more like a log than what it was meant to be but my point is I never ran out of things to do. I still had so much to do and had barely scratched the surface of the game.

Now the first season of Spartan Operations is over, and in that downtime they are releasing Crimson. It just crossed my mind today how content I am with all the... content and how well all that content has been spaced apart. I do not know if this was meticulously thought over in development, or if it just happened by itself, but it seems quite elaborate. Anyway.

Why is this on the Bungie forums? I understand that it's off topic, but come on, you could have just gone onto Halo Waypoint and sign in via Hotmail(just like you do here) and post this just as easily.

OT: 343i could have done MUCH better and the lack of support and actual communication is insulting and embarrassing. I'm waiting for TU1, but I doubt they will fix the MAJOR glitches in the game.

I can not stand Waypoint. I get where you are coming from but I thought you might actually listen, not that I especially needed to be heard. Not that I was fishing for a popular post or anything.

I understand that 343 means well, but the way they put the game out with all these problems isn't helping. There are many things wrong with this game, too much to list and I think we all know the main problems that need to be addressed.

I was skeptical about 343i and I love Halo 4's single player, but every other feature(neutral on Spartan Ops) is lacking in some way and needs to be fixed.

Fair enough. Sorry and when I wrote you I was referring to the forum, not you specifically. Just to clarify, I thought it might have seemed almost hostile.

Oh no, I didn't see it as hostile or any other way, you're just stating your opinion about 343i. I just think they could have done better. Not really looking forward to Halo 5 sadly...

Halo: Tactical

I'm either a fool or an inteligent man, depending on how sleepy or angry I am.

I originaly made an account on 07.27.2007 but I wanted to link my GT and made this account. Don't forget your passwords!

I don't have much against the Single Player, but the multiplayer needs fixing in a ton of places. As someone who prefers Human vs. Human combat more than Human vs. AI combat, I do not like Halo 4.

I prefer quality over quantity and everything about Halo 4 seems rushed

The world is full of mysteries, and shares too few of the answers required. An example of which, is how did I end up in the Brute Zone?

Halo 4 rustled my Jimmies so badly.

Hated the campaign storyline, and gameplay. The pace of the gameplay was erratic andstupid also in my opinion.

The Spartan Ops first 5 missions I just blitzed on Legendary easily, didn't enjoy the small storyline segment either.

The multiplayer is horribly designed, my favourite game mode in previous installments of the Halo sega has always been 'Infection', now Flood has come, it has completely reworked the mechanics of the game for the worst. Last man standing has absolutely 0 chance of holding out unless the timer is just about to expire. And I haven't played in a while, so I don't know if they fixed this, but that JIP... o.O

Overall, as a major Halo fan, I couldn't have been any more disappointed with it, and most likely won't buy Halo 5. Oh and I bought the limited edition copy of Halo 4, which was a waste of money too.

TL;DR: Halo 4 (IMO) sucked very, very hard, in all aspects.

Right? Some people have been saying they have been in development with Halo 4 since the release of Halo 3, but this game feels like it was made in less than 2 years, or 2 years max.

And 343i said we wouldn't need a public beta...

Public beta wouldn't have fixed most of thses things but they could have needed another year.

It took years and control ripped from their dying hands for Zero Bloom to be finally implemented into Reach. Bungie are hardly saints - they got lucky and stumbled upon a winning formula, as most of the additions beyond the core of Halo combat made the game worse, not better.

What did 343 really do? They had other studios making different things for Halo 4. I know they didn't make the Halo 4 multiplayer maps.

And they sure as hell didn't make the forge aspect.

^This.

As someone who longs for the return of competitive matchmaking,1-50 ranks, classic BR slayer, and so on, I don't like the multiplayer in Halo 4.

I eagerly await the arrival of custom maps to The Flood Playlist, and for the addition of BR/DMR Slayer and some form of nostalgic Halo 2/Halo 3 classic playlist. However, the single player component is great. Impact and Erosion are good custom map potentials, while Spartan OPs is really great (if only Commander Palmer would expand her vocabulary) and I personally think the campaign is the best since Halo 3. One can always hope for the future.

Oh yeah, since somebody does not believe what YOU believe; that makes us vapid...
I cannot grasp that what you call "Something happened to nothing, and that nothing became something, and it was smaller than than a period."

I too like when games have their DLC and game modes spaced out so you always have fun stuff to do.
However, Spartan Ops season 1 is only half way over, it is ten episodes per season.
