Not really. Your mom is over quite enough to make my fears mute.

Being alone. You're a mod, you should be used to that.

As I stated before, no great player lancers unless they are trying to counter the other team doing something. They were catering to casuals with DBNO and they have finally learned that casuals don't make Gears thrive and casuals don't make up the Gears community. It's just an annoyance for non-casual Gears players because in the end it's going to be either a gib or a down and if you down him you just have to quickly melee and you keep running as if nothing happened. It's just annoying to have to run up to him and hit 'B', it might add a small chance of dying but if you are a good player it doesn't do much other than make you think ,"This is -blam!- stupid".
What I mean by ,"They catered to casuals", the DBNO system only works in the more casual playlists (not ranked), and most people here just play every now and then. These playlists have terrible kids running around using the retro or just lancering from range or even using the turret(forgot the name) and they normally just down the kid and try to get to him and die in the process, if this is what you're referring to, learn how to play.
So in other words you are saying the game is only a CQC game. Are you terrible at Gears or what? Oh wait the hit the "B" to kill a downed player says enough about that. You don't beat down someone to execute them you shoot them it is faster and doesn't leave you vulnerable or at the very least you use them as bait to kill the teammate that is going to revive him. As for learning how to play I bet I have been playing the Gears franchise longer than you and are probably better than you. Especially since you are -blam!-ing about the retro lancer/lancer which is a sign you are one of those people that can't handle the basic weapons in the game. I have yet to see how DBNO is catering to casuals when you have to take more effort to get a kill while casualization makes kills easier to get not harder. I ran a 3.5 on almost every playlist on Gears 2, when I actually cared.
