Ignore my gamertag. It's actually Dragonzzilla.

Do game developers these days lack a certain, creative touch? It always seems that the fanbase comes up with better, more original ideas for a series or game that the developers didn't talk about in the making of their game. Promethean vehicles are an example of this.

So, title?

Sometimes, I dream about cheese.

Go check out some indie games, always awesome.

Disregard Females, acquire currency.

The problem with games lacking certain things is because developers usually do not have enough time.

It's because developers know they can make mounds of money by just putting in the bare minimum that people expect in the game and don't actually listen to what the community wants.

Or money.

There are still plenty of creative games. But right now we're closing in on the end of this gen, and none of the really big publishers want to waste money on things no one will buy. Why make a new IP and risk not making money when you can make a new Call of Duty or Assassin's Creed much easier and guarantee a profit?

Hell, if I was in charge, I would be brutally honest with the community. "We're hitting a rough spot," I would say. "But we're going to do our best to make the game better for you. But it's up to you that we survive to see the next year or fail,"
