Be not afraid, for the forest nymphs have taught me how to pleasure a women.

So I'm done with this quarter of school(on the trimester system in da UC's).

And I'm a second year now...last year I was really stoked to go back home for winter break.

This year...not as much. I don't know...I feel most of my friends have changed to the point where I don't feel like I know them as much anymore.

And this year especially, I've made a ton of solid connections at school.

So it just feels weird/awkward going back home. Especially having to live with my parents again. So the question is, how do I make this feeling go away once I get home(tomorrow night)?

Any suggestions?

On the bright side...NO MORE -blam!- FINALS. ACED DAT -blam!-!

in·dif·fer·ence
the fact or state of being indifferent; lack of care or concern and empathy demonstrated by an absence of emotional reactions.

Just do something to take your mind off it.

Well that's one of the problems...my hometown is kind of boring and there's not much to do...so I'm gonna have a lot of thinking/bored time.

This is -blam!- awesome. I'm gonna be homesick for a place, that most wouldn't consider my home.

I had the same problem. I suggest you find a project. I'm saving up for an new pc. Raised over £100 in a day. Pretty fun stuff bartering and selling stuff you don't need :)

Grow up and stop being a little whiney brat?

Your family have probably missed you so rather than complaining about having to go back home just enjoy it for what it is and realise you'll be on you way back to Uni/College sooner than you think.

I finish this term of university today and I go home on Monday.
Trust me, it's worse for me. I have to go back to the "5th worst city in the world" and my completely dysfunctional "family". Oh, and on top of that it's not even a christmas holiday it's just revision for my exams in January.

I'm not complaining.

It's just odd for me feel like I'm going to miss anywhere. I've never experienced like feelings of what could be considered on-coming homesickness.

I don't know...maybe I'm just too detached from my family...but I feel like I'm leaving the people who know me way better and I'll be gone from my closest compatriots (whoo vocab!) for a month(yeah...super short time...but still I'll be bored and alone).

Sorry if that seems immature and/or whiney.

The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over, all the vermin will drown

Sounds entertaining.

Sorry, it's still too early and cold where I am and I was a little bit harsh.

Just think that your family will really be looking forward to seeing you, even if they haven't said so, and that xmas is enjoyable, no matter where you are, as long as your surrounded by people who care for you which I'm sure your friends and family back home do.

It'll be worse in your mind now because you're worrying about it than it will be once you get home and start enjoying the festivities.
