Paintball would be fun, although how would you play that?

one shot with a pistol and you get an instant kill, one shot wil a sniper you get an instant kill. One shot with a bazooka you get a great big puddle of paint, and if you hit a lets say scorpion tank with a pistol you kill the guy inside. Pointless.

Replace Assault gametype with Destruction.

Destruction being that there is a generator in a base you must destroy to win. The generator would have a regenerating shield like the spartans and elites but would be much stronger, like two direct hits with rockets to take down. After you take down the shield you start to wittle away the health of the generator until either its destroyed or the shields get a chance to regenerate. The health and shield for the generator would be adjustable in the game options so that it could be stronger or weaker.

In one sided games with one team on offense the other on defense you would play four rounds and which team does the most damage during the two times they are on offense combined would win. In two sided games with both teams on offense and defense the team that destroyed the other generator or did the most damage before the end of the game would win.

Least with Destruction it wouldn't just be reverse capture the flag and you wouldn't have to go against an entrenched enemy with one person unable to fire a weapon like assault.

perhaps a territories/koth gamrtype where 1 player on each team gets to pilot a pelican. the pelican can carry troops, ammo and wepons,as well as shoot rockets and a machine gun. if the pelican is taken down, then your players would have to walk very far to get to the territories/hill, giving the other team a chance to get a lot of time. the pelican would have an un recharging health meter, an could have a respawn option
