If good looks could kill, I'd be a weapon of mass destruction.

Q: Hey, what did Hitler say to the black jew?
A: Get to the back of the oven.

Yes.

Oh god yes.

If ME had ME2's huge range of characters, ME3's combat system, and scanning system and graphics, less glitches and bugs then it would be the greatest game in existence.

If they made the planets a little more diverse and the environments a little different as well, then yes, best game ever.

What good is the Mattock when you have a crappy combat system to accommodate it?

It's brilliant anyway.

Would be nice, but a lot of the environments are a little too open for a cover based TPS.

Yea. Obviously the level design will have to be reworked as well.

Octavia is best pony.

Replace the Mako with the Hammerhead and this would be true.

By the power of truth, I, while living, have conquered the universe.

If the combat system was slightly refined (I actually don't mind ME1's combat system but I guess you get used to it after 17 playthroughs), the Mako was replaced by the Hammerhead, the Inventory UI was cleaned up, and a greater variety of environments on Uncharted Worlds, then ME1 would be pretty much perfect.

You are correct, sir. I still think it is one of the greatest games in existence as is. Not the best, but one of them.

Crappy? Unlike its sequels, Mass Effect 1 was about as RPG as a console game could get without being KOTOR. Then people complained because it was two hard (they weren't smart enough) so they dumbed it down to a Gears of War level of gameplay.

No

  • 12.14.2012 12:15 PM PDT

It would still have the tedious rpg micromanaging and the weapon overheat system.

On the other hand, if ME2 had ME3's combat, it would be much better.

No, Mass Effect 1 had the best combat system setup.

Thanks for the laugh. The combat itself in Mass Effect 1 has nothing to do with how much of an RPG it is.
