Please do not send me group invites.

I feel like you made this thread just to talk about guns.

By your own links, 12 people died in total.

12.

Over double than that died today. THAT'S what guns do. They double the number.

Thank you OP, you did the research for us in disproving you.

And many sources are saying there were two shooters.

So... If the shooting had double the amount of deaths... divide that by the amount of shooters and you get... *gasp* The same results O:!!

Unconfirmed.

And you are an idiot.

I meant to add *"If this is true" to the second status.

Also, because I have a point doesn't make me an idiot. Please lrn2debate by bringing up a counter-argument.

Yes, of course, I see the error of my ways, lets give these maniacs a weapon that can kill multiple people within seconds!

Its harder to kill a group of people with a knife than a gun.

As well as this, shootings happen in america happen every few months whereas events like you posted in the OP dont occur very often at all.

You are a gun toting idiot, stop trying to defend something that at its core is totally stupid, the law may have been relevant when it was made...but in the modern world with modern weapons, its completely obsolete.

Making it more difficult to get guns is only one part of solving the problem, of course. I don't think anyone has implied otherwise.
You're the only anti-gun person I've seen here that doesn't think banning guns will magically stop crime.

You're implying a bunch of things that are simultaneously horrible ideas using a single token case.

I can only begin to think of the -blam!-storm that will happen if we start giving teachers in classrooms guns. The other implication, that there shouldn't be gun control, is equally horrible.

Not everyone should have a gun. The mentally unstable, felons, etc. They do not, should not, have access to guns.

On the Left

Godshatter: I can go all the way with someone without being attracted to them.
CamCamm: How does that work?
Godshatter: I'm easily aroused by anything that moves. It's a curse.
Brain says 'No, that's ugly', body says 'ugly is fine with me'.

I like the idea of a mandatory mentality check and a gun safety course before purchasing a firearm. Be it bow/arrow or lead firing. And people should show proof of a locker style place that they can safely put the gun in.

As for the illegal kind, that i don't know how to approach. Same with Gun Conventions. They should at least require the people going there to buy a weapon show proof of 2/3 things on my first list.

The point of the thread COMPLETELY flew over your head...

All I'm saying is, This stuff will happen, even if guns were banned completely. Crazy people will do crazy people things.

NOBODY said teachers should be allowed to have open carry, so don't put words in my mouth. <--- And this goes for all of you... Since a lot of you seem to be implying things out of thin air for some reason
