It's the prestige that makes the illusion.

Wow, it's an amazing movie.
Epic battles between Dwarves and orcs at Erebor, Moria and the countless chases.

It's a shame that in the movie they are fighting orcs instead of goblins like in the book.

He threw down a glove you made the mistake
Of picking it up now you're gone
The choosing of guns or fighting with swords
The choice of weapons is done
He'll tear you apart as soon as you start
You know you don't have a chance.

3D HFR or normal?

I gotta say that when I watched it 3D HFR I had no hope for the 3D part, but best use of 3D I've seen.

The battles between the Dwarves and the Orcs were awesome. The Necromancer was also great, even if it was just a glimpse.

Today, a young man on acid realized that all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration, that we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively, there is no such thing as death, life is only a dream and we are the imagination of our selves.

Do we really need a spoiler tag for a story thats been out for like 70 years?

That dwarf city was epic, also when eagles came and raped those over sized rats was epic.

Probably 90% of the people watching it haven't read the book or the LOTR books and only seen the movies.

My favourite part was probably the Riddles in the Dark bit with Gollum. For such a pathetic creature he is pretty terrifying when angry.

No it was courage.
It doesn't take courage to kill someone, it takes courage to decide not to kill someone.
