"Life to you stepson and everlasting glory. " Thifes World.

Not to say that every one is on one or that any one is better if they are able to afford more. I have bought all bungie games with out the extras due to its all i could afford.

No hating on those who do congrats etc if you did. I got to hear stories from friends who did and it gave me satisfaction hearing there reaction.

Now i became a bungie cult member before i knew it or what B.net was. I was doing conventions working for Pro-Tech security. When Halo 2 was launching.(Defunct Comdex)

At the convention i was working yet did not get a chance to play.(Would like to get Halo2 again at some time. Sigh gotta eat.)

I did however pick up the original X-box then played the first Halo. Conventions are held for products a year down the line so i picked up HALO 2 sometime during the release date.

Never got to play online. Still good memories.

Some could call me a fan boy but really i appreciate what they put out even if i cannot afford the fancy t-shirts or attend a convention. If you can then i hope you enjoy the experience.

The Internet has allowed me to bond with other bungie fans regardless of Social status etc. In my opinion i think we appreciate more due to it being hard to come by at times.

Still i would love to attend a convention at sometime even catch a football game in this life time. Some of us may be low budget but we are quality people worth more than diamonds.

Over the years i have made some good Friends most of whom played Halo 3. These days i see little of them but i savor the memories. Thank you for listening i await Destiny to be released then enjoy some good times.- Commander

I acknowledge my user name is stupid. However, I promise I'm not.

Disclaimer: The latter is a lie.

That was a nice read, although I'm not sure what discussion value this thread has.

Halo: CE Anniversary Achievement Idea
C-C-C-CANNON BREAKER!
Let Sgt. Johnson die on Halo.

Glad to hear that Bungie holds a special place in your heart, but I had to re-read almost everything due to the horrid grammar...

I don't know where I would be today if I wasn't a part of the Bungie community.

Sorry about that i seem to have lost grammar skills. it was 10 years before i even touched a computer.

Anyways despite the lack of it i do my best. I am glad others feel the same way.

Best way i support them is just showing up here on b.net. I know others do the same. Hard to belive i am coming up on 4 years or is it five.

What i want to know is are there low budget fans out there that have a moment like i did that had them come here speak out. :D

Tell your story plz. Mines a footnote in the bungie scheme to world domination. Post it up. Then join the bungie cult that is in the cellar lol.

Roll with the hits, not under them.

No, you can't have it. But thanks for asking!

A great way to go to conventions without breaking the bank is to volunteer. If it weren't for volunteer networks I would never get to attend any conventions. Most volunteer groups for the conventions have room shares and floor space amongst local members for those folks who are on a shoe string budget, and the culture behind the volunteer groups is very rewarding, tight, and fraternal in the best of ways. I've even seen volunteers get together to pay the plane ticket of a person who wanted to work a con but otherwise couldn't afford to attend. The first thing that pops up in my mind, of course, is the PAX Enforcer network (most likely because I've been a PAX Enforcer for a few years now). RTX, in Texas, is another great example. Comicons have a very tight volunteer network as well, and serve as a great way to get your foot in the door so that you can make a reputation for yourself and get assistance in joining one of the larger gaming conventions.

If you (or anybody here) is interested in finding out more about working conventions to attend conventions, please feel free to PM me. I'm always happy to help recruit newbs to the ranks of the volunteer networks I belong to.

I know about the steatakular award, i have quite a few. Doubt i will get real steak. Virtual steak would be more like the matrix.

Yeagh well i ushally spend time locked in the Gallery. Still no free lunch or free lunch i am still here. I doubt that i would redeem my steak awards for real food. Lolz Just thinking about it.
