Subject: Do you find the Prometheans a challenge to defeat?

I went to Google and typed in "fat people keyboards."
All I saw pretty much was an advice column and fat jokes. :(
I do not think they make them.

When flooded with Crawlers, Watchers and then the Knights, why the challenge they gave was like repetitive email spam; annoying, lots of it, and then they'd disappear.

The last level on Legendary where Cortana hacks those turrets. Mother of god the amount of Crawlers that come at you. That level still gives me nightmares.
Not to mention those turrets being completely worthless...

The auto-turrets? They're about as useful as a corpse rotting on the road-side during a war. God, they are pathetic.

How to beat Halo 4 on Legendary:

Run past everything.

Nope, they're easy.

Quick as a razor, sharp as a bullet.

Perhaps if the classes used all of their abilities and supported each other a bit more, then yes. However, it seems that Watchers spawning Crawlers is scripted, Crawlers don't rush when a Knight's shield is popped (maybe that's because I kill them beforehand), Watchers don't catch grenades very often, and spend most of their time flying about rather than actually attacking you, just as Crawlers often just lurk without opening fire.

Make a thread saying you will counter any argument against armor lock...

Then respond with Adapt.

The Prometheans are a joke. Such an easy group of enemies.

Are you kidding???? The Auto Turrets are a godsend on Legendary Solo, they really helped me in that last area. Easily the best AA for campaign hands down.

OT: Binary Rifle Knights, not a good idea to go toe to toe with one, trickery definitely required.

Noob combo works on Prometheans.

They really just piss me off. The space dogs really annoy me and the 10 million shots to kill knights really made me mad and if they duck behind a rock their shields instantly. Watchers just piss me off even more. I hate how they turn tale and just run.

Respect skill, Not rank.

strangely, i find the blue ones far more challenging than the orange.

One does not simply trolololol into Mordor.

Since they have set strategies they are more predictable, where as the Covenant has only a few things you can predict, mostly they will work together differently in different places.

I also found it funny how on my Legendary playthrough, just before the Didact was released, I killed the Binary rifle Knight, and that allowed the Covenant troops to kill all the other Prometheans really easily.

Never charge down a Knight with an unseen Scattershot. Worst. Idea. Ever.

I do have to admit that assassinating knights is extremely gratifying.

Yeah I did that plenty of times on legendary. It always ended with -blam!- a damn scattershot.

"There's a very fine line between not listening, and not caring. I'd like to think that I walk that line every day."

Only ones with Binary or Incendiary weapons.

Even so . . . I played on Normal. I could take out Knights with a single Scattershot round.

It felt more like a grind than a challenge, I guess I'd say. I don't play to challenge myself.

On Forerunner and the last mission, I did that countless times. That and the Binary Rifle when you least expect it.

Hey, enemies are all cleare- what the hell? A Knight just walks up to your ashes and laughs.

Yup that last mission I probably died 10 times from the same scattershot. I had no choice but charge him because he would duck behind cover from afar.

I believe that this entire chat sums up how the Prometheans are/were.
