13.72 billion years in the making.

On December 1st, 2012, I met Neil deGrasse Tyson. I shook the man's hand, and even made him laugh. Not much else to do with my life now.

People don't think in "languages."

If I'm going to pick up a sandwich, I don't think to myself "I'm going to pick up a sandwich" in words. I simply tell my brain to perform the necessary actions that are going to result in me picking up the sandwich.

I've been learning Spanish and I'm not very good at it yet so I just think and speak in English.

A simple life.

Most of my thoughts aren't in a spoken language...they are in the language of my mind. If that makes any sense.

What language do people who were born deaf speak in?

Is it possible to think without language?

I think in English, except when my thoughts get so far ahead of my internal narration that they've more or less happened without me thinking of them in really any language.

The more Spanish I learn, the more often I find certain mental statements are partially or fully in spanish, for no real reason.

"Ignorance is a plague."

Close, but the plague killed those infected with it, and the ignorant are still alive.
I wish ignorance was a plague.

Most of the time, I speak in English. If I'm working only in French for a long time (more than a week), I start thinking in French.
