I don't see you doing anything to help our country.
Except sitting at home, naked, eating twinkies, rubbing your hands together going "Heh. Target Destroyed. Mission Accomplished." Oh wait. that's not helping.

Well this is...interesting. North Korea managed to fire off it's first long range-missile today. While not exactly a huge step, as they had tried before being thwarted by Japan's antimissile systems. Though it gets interesting by the fact that they are apparently supplying Syria.

One day apart, North Korea launched a long-range missile to much fanfare, and the Assad regime fired Scud missiles on the rebels. Eli Lake on how the Hermit Kingdom helped Syria with the technologyand why chemical weapons might be next.

In the same week that Syria started using its Scud missiles against rebels, North Korea tested a long-range missile thousands of miles away over the Pacific Ocean.

The two developments are more connected that it might appear. North Korea is a supplier and adviser to Syria's Scud-missile program, according to former and current U.S. intelligence officials. The North Koreans also have helped President Bashar al-Assad to develop a program for the Syrian regime to make the medium- to long-range missiles itself.

Yes, but they haven't been threatening to use bio-weapons before.

Ah. That's not too comforting.

Life passes most people by while they're making grand plans for it. Throughout my lifetime, I've left pieces of my heart here and there. And now, there's almost not enough to stay alive. But I force a smile, knowing that my ambition far exceeded my talent. There are no more white horses or pretty ladies at my door.

I believe you mean chemical weapons. I mean, Assad has biological weapons, but he hasn't prepared them for use yet like he has his chemical weapons.

Yea, I saw that. Luckily, SCUDs do not always mean that there will be a chemical warhead involved. I hope there isn't one, for the rebel's sake.

It's only a step away. If they do resort to this I guarantee action will be taken by all UN nations. They have no choice, there was a treaty signed, to ignore would mean sanctions and possible expulsion from the UN. No big nation wants that at this stage.

Am I the only one concerned that this has gotten little to no coverage on the news?

Not really, the North Korean missile launch occurred at the same time, which was temporarily bigger news. Unless chemical payloads were used, or a US patriot shoots one down, it won't be front page news for awhile.

There is none, that's why it's 50/50. Nobody has heard anything since the strike.

I have not had a prostate exam. Ergo, there is a 50/50 chance of me having prostate cancer.
