o'rly?

The data for us is pretty awesome actually. Not really surprising, considering I never hear of gun-related violence, but still.
I hear of gun related violence all the time...

...in Melbourne. Haw haw haw.

Keep telling yourself that, they can take away your gun ownership any time they want.

Not without staring down the barrel of a shotgun and murdering me to achieve it.

Never make me angry. I am a Hitman and I can easily find you and take you out.

Owning guns in public is very stupid imo.

You can easily kill someone with it fast. Sure, actually everything is a weapon, even a piece of paper. But a gun kills faster than paper so that's why paper is legal. But why guns too, for certain ages? Makes no sense. And then the people get sad when someone gets shot and they are all like "How could this ever happen?! BOOHOO" And then marches with people come, lots of flowers being put where the murder happened.

Seriously.. wtf.

You're right. It's no surprise our government infringes on our freedoms and natural rights constantly. Our own president is a murderer.

I'm being sarcastic while trying to prove that you can't take something that was made 200 years ago at face value.
why? every other amendment in the bill of rights holds up

you like your free speech?
right to trial?
right to free religion?

Your logic is totally flawless. Because most of it makes sense all of it must do.
no he said its an old amendment and was made in a different time, my counterpoint is THEY ALL WERE!!

free speech=media sensationalism
trial by jury= genuinely guilty people getting off on technicality's
free religion=cults having ritualistic suicides

they all have cons but the good out weighs the bad, and doing away with it doesn't change that it just takes away the good

A dangerous situation? Like what? Everything is a dangerous situation. Even a fat chick eating at McDonalds.

If everyone has a gun in a dangerous situations then there will be a huge gun festival going on, and not the one where you look at nice weapons. No, the one where you may look at bullets for the last time.

If everyone has guns in dangrous situations then there will be more deaths. More than if they just had a fist fight because then the cops could arrive early to stop everyone.

Atleast, that's what I think. :P

A dangerous situation like this.

Or if more people had guns in public no one would want to risk committing a crime because they know it would be useless when we can actually defend ourselves. See, the gun gives us all a voice and gives everyone, even the little old lady, an even chance. The simple fact is people that want to kill are going to kill, and criminals won't listen to gun bans because, and I know this will shock you, CRIMINALS IGNORE THE LAW! HAHA! Banning guns only takes them out of the hands of responsible citizens which is why gun violence INCREASES as gun laws get harsher.

Actually, more guns equals less deaths and less crime in general, including gun crime. History and experience has shown this.

Sydney and Melbourne have drive-bys a lot, and here on the Gold Coast we have a rising number of robberies, although they get caught pretty quickly.

Rarely are there any shootings, though.

Damn man, everyone is just gonna die. There's guns and weapons everywhere!

But you said that people will all have an even and fair match. That an old lady can win from robbers.

BUT WHAT IF...

What if an old lady who doesn't get what she wants from a store worker gets mad and then accidently shoots the store worker, and he dies?

What was the logic that's always used? Oh yeah. "A person is going to find a way to kill another person if they really want to, regardless of whatever gets in his way."

If every single person had a gun, it'd be -blam!- anarchy.

Things like that don't age the same way. Firearms have advanced significantly since the second amendment was made.

not when you look at the homicide rate we're tied with Austria and the particularly high suicide rate can quite easily be attributed with the terrible economy
Australia has as many people murdered by firearm a year as America does?

As an Australian, I need to ask you: WUT?
AUSTRIA!!! not Australia

Is this some sort of joke? Have you even ever looked at Austria's statistics or are you just making -blam!- up now?
