So I really want to go and see The Hobbit.

Don't know how to watch it though, I don't mind watching it without 3D either. But what is HFR?

HFR 3D will be at 48 fps, apparently it makes you feel nauseous if you're not used to it.

Thanks for the tip.

2D it is then, nothing wrong with a bit of good old 2D.

Can't wait to watch it guys!

2D, regular version so that you can take in the story and content. Then, if you really want to, see it in HFR.

TRU7H. CARNAGE. BUNGIE

Just watched it HFR 3D yesterday and it was amazing! I have always looked down at 3D as Ihad never seen a good 3D effect on the movie that lasted the whole time.

But this... was amazing.. so beautiful... Only down side was that the glasses didn't fit so well on top of my own glasses but if you have a good eye sight it not a problem.

I have a bit of the same problem there.

I am always plagued with small 3D glasses, so I'm able to see over the top and then I've got two different versions of the movie goind on -.-

I saw the "regular" 3D and while it looked amazing, I don't think you will miss anything seeing it in 2D.

Can anyone explain this thing with fps? If you watch it in 48 fps will it look like an old charlie chaplin movie or something?

I watched it in 48fps and it looked awesome. The critics were just looking for something to complain about.

Hmmm, I don't know what to say...

I haven't seen it yet (but I'm going today), but from what I hear the regular version is the version you want to see first. Then you can see the other definitions, so that your first seeing of the movie wasn't ruined for you.

-blam!- Was that actually blammed out? Or did I just type it? You'll never know.

I've heard the 3D/48fps combo makes it looks murky and is also causing nausea. I'd say just your ordinary 2D.

He threw down a glove you made the mistake
Of picking it up now you're gone

The choice of weapons is done
He'll tear you apart as soon as you start
You know you don't have a chance.

HFR 3D > Regular > 3D.

HFR 3D in Hobbit is the best use of 3D I've seen.

What? People read these?

I loved it. It stayed mostly true to the book but added a few things to flesh out characters and have less uninteresting walking. I don't know why it's getting such bad reviews, because I thought it was great.
