Honestly I'm starting to prefer 2D movies. I like 3D, but only when the movie is really made for it, where it really adds to the story. Not just beacuse it's cool to have swords and bullets flying in your face.

Just my 2 cents.

Thoughts, flood?

To obtain, something of equal value must be lost.

Yes, but it is a very good looking gimmick

3D though I don't mind 2D films at all and some of them were good but I'm a bit sad that I missed Dredd 3D because I'm not 18 yet. I'll have to wait till my mother gets it on DVD meaning I can only see it in 2D now... :/ I think Dark Knight Rises should've definitely been in 3D, though...

Meh

I've tried PC gaming with NVIDIA 3D Vision though. Looking down the ironsights of a T88 LMG in Bad Company 2 was eye-popping.

Still, not sure if it'd get old fast.

Where does this happen?

Where they break the fourth wall and involve the audience/make a point out of the fact that there is an audience watching the characters, for example...

No i hate it so much, it hurts my eyes and ruins immersion.
