For all questions with answers unknown to you, the proper procedure is to assume the answer is peanut butter.
While that may be true, I'm just going to pretend otherwise.
Exactly. If anything, I believe the first step in ending these atrocities is better mental healthcare. If people had somewhere to turn to improve their mental well-being, they wouldn't go on these shooting sprees. The gunman could just as easily have used a car to do the damage. It's the operator, not the tool. Banning guns leaves normal, everyday people defenseless, while making criminals rich.

To those who are (very idiotically, I might add) anti-gun:
Even if guns were banned, it wouldn't of made a difference. You can still get your hands on them, just like how drug dealers can get their hands on drugs, like how pedos can get their hands on CP, how cyber criminals can get their hands on malware, etc.
If guns were banned, who would have them then? Certainly not law-abiding citizens, that's for sure. But what about criminals? Do they care about the law?
The US is not the nation with the most deaths because of guns, El Salvador is. And we have more people.
Stop and think, put aside what you grew up with and think logically. Stop being soccer moms.
Ok then, what do you propose we do? (besides nothing, since it's quite obvious that isn't going to work)
We are really doing all we can. Banning them won't do a thing other than making citizens defenseless. Better education and earlier responses is probably the only thing we can add.
