I wonder if this idea is any good.
You know how in the military, people can control drones from thousands of miles away?
If it's possible, we can install that sort of technology on major airlines and flights so that if hijackers attempted to hijack the plane and are about to succeed, the pilots can activate a switch and lose control of their plane [which can be re-engage by typing in a password or something of that sort to regain control of the plane].
By doing that, no matter if the hijackers get in the cockpit, they have no power to fly the plane unless they know the password to do so.
When the switch is activated, someone on duty will control the plane from miles away just like he does with a drone.
I am not sure if that is even possible, it's just a thought I had. What do you think?
