“Strange,” mused the Director, as they turned away, “strange to think that even in Our Ford’s day most games were played without more apparatus than a ball or two and a few sticks and perhaps a bit of netting. imagine the folly of allowing people to play elaborate games which do nothing whatever to increase consumption.”
The Black Chapter!
I need to store a large amount of material that is highly sensitive to being knocked - shooting it, for example, will cause it to explode. For this reason, I've been thinking that it would be safest to avoid putting it all in one place - after all, then it might all go off at once - but rather to scatter it around my house in many smaller containers. I don't really want to fill the rooms with all this stuff, so I've been stashing it around the corridors. Don't be thinking that I'm irresponsible or anything - I've not just been leaving explosive material lying around - I've hired guards to stand near the barrels, to protect them from any potential attack.
The thing is, I can't quite decide what colour to paint these barrels. The corridors walls are painted white, so there's no real colour coordination issues to be had... What can you suggest?
