Subject: Casual moviegoers have ruined the film industry.

So now we want MLMG. I don't think Major League Movie Going is going to become a thing.

Nowadays, we get one hour and a half pieces of crap that are made for the ADHD casual moviegoer.
What the -blam!- movies are you seeing? I haven't seen a movie under 2:30 in years.

No, acnboy. Spartain Ken 15 is a lesser being. Much like the bacteria that lives in your shit.

My shit bacteria takes offense to that comparison.

Don't make me lel. You won't like me when I lel.

You're an idiot. It seems as if the past had better movies since all the crap ones have already been forgotten about. You're comparing a filtered sample to an unfiltered one.

You asked for it.

I -blam!- love this one:
Plot contrivance: It is very nice of Bane to offer Batman a television while he stays in an underground prison in -blam!-istan. You have to realize that a few of his henchmen had to dig a 30-stories hole through the desert beside the prison to be able to pass the cable and power source to get the TV to work. Then those same henchmen had to think out-loud "Now where the -blam!- do we connect this ?" and realize that the closest power supply was in the neighboring town a few miles away. Then they had to buy more wire extensions and dig another small tunnel to hide the wires. The few henchmen that survived the exhausting ordeal then had to -blam!-ly bargain the access to an electrical socket owned by the tribe leader who controls all the electricity in the region. This could have been a movie by itself.
Sounds like a comedy gold right there

Disagree. The Dark Knight Trilogy.

The Plot Hole Rises is not thought-provoking in the slightest.

Lolno. Go ahead, shoot.

You asked for it.
And some more.

My favourite part was when it went from midday to midnight in 8 minutes. Not to mention Hollywood's usual scientific illiteracy reached new heights with the fusion device, I don't even know where to start. I didn't think they could beat the microwave machine in BB for pure derp, but they managed it.

-_-. You got me.

I didn't need to think when I watch the trilogy.

"Right now it is raining methane on Titan. The planet Uranus is, hilariously, orbiting the sun sideways while Venus spins backwards. We sit here on a planet marked with collisions, rocked by earthquakes, shaken by storms. A planet doomed to be fried in radiation as its magnetic fields collapse, until the sun grows and leaves nothing of the earth but dust. Here we sit, glasses on our noses, inhalers in our pockets, braces on our teeth, and we say "Behold the perfect ORDER of it all!""

>Bruce Wayne can make it to Gotham from the prison with no money, no technology, and no form of transportation within a few days.

>ALL OF THE POLICEMEN UNDERGROUND AT THE SAME TIME

>Broken spines being repaired with rope

>Selina is supposed to be the love interest, despite her and Bruce having no chemistry at all

>Bane somehow knowing the location of the Batman Armory

>Watch the movie. He was right next to a city when he got out.

>Not much of a plot hole. Remember, a small team obviously wouldn't cut it, as tried previously, and Jim knew just how big this army was. So he obviously thought a small army would be enough.

>More like a broken spine being put near in place then being forced to stand for months untill it can reconnect

>Subtle acting. When Bruce sees Selina again, you can tell that she is competely relieved that he's alive

>Bane was working with Talia, who knew the location.

Congratulations.

I thought the first Taken was great. You don't always need deep, thought-provoking storylines all the times. Like in video games for example, I love story-driven games like Bioshock, Mass Effect, The Witcher, and such, but sometimes I just want to play some blow'em up and shoot'em games where I don't have to pay attention either.

I thought taken was a pretty cool movie. I enjoy movies where you have to think as well as flashy explosion action movies.

Years ago, we used to get long movies with deep plots that required you to think.

Wat.

No.

I used to wonder what friendship could be.

Oh -blam!-, how dare someone spend their time sitting on their couch watching a 4 hour long piece of -blam!- instead of going out and actually doing something. You're an idiot.

You obviously are not going to the right movies, then. If you were truly an intelligent movie goer you would be able to pick out the "one hour and a half pieces of crap" from the actually decent films. There have been plenty good films over the past few years. Hugo stands out to me in particular. It relied heavily on CGI, but told its story well (I am aware it is a book).

Also, if you do enjoy longer, not so flashy movies, you would definitely enjoy Lincoln. Saw it yesterday and it was really good.

It's funny because I can make the same exact argument against Floodians. Knowing every -blam!- parody thread and meme on a sub-par forum that is only here because of a video game is equivalent to memorizing every -blam!- license plate you drive past. Get a life, good sir.
