Proud Spartan II, COG soldier, Hero of time, and crowbar wielding scientist.

So I got the game back in May, and took an embarrassingly long time to beat it, though my actual time played only hovers around 70 hours (including co-op/pvp).
I've been picking it up now and again, playing large chunks of it. This ranges from the beginning to blighttown, quelaag to to sens fortress, then to the Four kings. A that point, I was really skilled at the game, and hadn't died in a long time. For this reason, the four kings totally demotivated me, and I went on more of a "new 2012 games" streak, along with more PC gaming. I also lended it to a friend for a while.
With the announcement of Dark Souls 2, I got the game back Tuesday and marathoned it to the end, dying only occasionally. I beat Gravelord Nito today, and the final boss just now.
Ask the guy who beat Gwyn, Lord of Cinder, anything.

There were souls, and it was dark.

If pro is the opposite of con, then the opposite of progress is...

Have fun? :D

I am Brosidon, King of the Brocean

On a scale from Michael Jackson to Bungie.net, how dark were the souls?

Which ending did you choose?

Proud Spartan II, COG soldier, Hero of time, and crowbar wielding scientist.

I had a wonderful time, and the souls were darker than the humor on 4chan.

And I chose fire, because I'm a responsible boss.

If then pen is mightier than the sword, then why do actions speak louder than words?

I like the dark lord ending better. If you look into the lore neither of them really fit the "responsible boss"

I'll try newgame+ with the other one, and see which one I like better.
And I did use the drake sword until after the gargoyles, where the claymore found its place with me until Kiln of the fits flame, where I promptly switched to the BKGS.
That, parries, and the hornets ring, made Gwyn possible.
