So. You guys have heard about the terrible Connecticut shootings. And the Batman shootings. And the... Tech College shootings. Here in America. The land of the free. People are getting shot by criminally insane people. They take their licensed guns, walk into a facility, and kill everybody in there. It's terrible.
Click here. At the bottom of the page, it says those guns were licensed to his mother.
He was an honor roll student. People have argued for gun possession, because of the following:
:Herp derp! You need to protect yourself!
:Derpity derp! People are going to buy their guns off the Black Market anyway! There's no way to stop it! I'm mentally slow!
That's that. They think gun possession is ok, and these shootings would still happen regardless.
So.
Please tell me how your house gets broken into and robbed everyday. Oh? What's that? It doesn't? So what do you need that gun for? To threaten your neighbor the next time he ticks you off? Oh. That's ok. That's perfectly fine.
We don't need guns. We really don't. Law enforcement is perfectly capable of protecting us, and the black market is hard to access. If you are an honors student like the Connecticut shooter, how can you find a Black market? It's impossible, and he would never have shot up the school.
Click here. This is a story about how there was a rampage in China.
Guess what. The guy did not have a gun. China just doesn't allow it because they are not stupid couch potatoes. They enforce no-gun policies. Only major gangs have guns, and that's because they have international connections.
Anyways, one thing stood out to me. The fact that there were no deaths. Just injuries. This was the exact same environment, the exact same situation, but the fact that THERE WERE NO DAMN GUNS! There were no deaths, just trauma and injuries, but life sustained is the most precious outcome.
Because of guns, people are losing lives. Quit caring about this Illuminati -blam!-, and how that's killing people, because it isn't, and start worrying about things that actually do kill people. Like guns. Licensed guns. As in, licensed to kill your neighbors.
Don't give me that "Herp derp, Guns don't kill people, people do." Ok then. That's like saying Toasters don't toast bread, people do. It would be a lot harder for people to kill other people if they didn't have guns. People do kill people, yes, but it's a lot easier to kill people with a gun.
Out of a 100 people who have guns, I would say this. 70 of them just put the gun in their cabinet and leave it there as a safeguard. That's ok. 20 of them flaunt it around and threaten people who tick them off that they have a gun. And 10 people are willing to shoot anybody that is in their way.
We can't take that 30% chance. End gun possesion, and school SHOOTINGS won't happen. Perhaps school stabbings or bombings, but those are very less common and less accessible. Besides, every school has that one really buff tech teacher to thwart the occasional stabber.
tl;dr: Guns are bad. Guns kill people. End gun possession.
