Subject: Do you think I can handle Grade 12 English?

Hey guys. I will be taking grade 12 university level English next semester. Now, you might be asking....so what? Here's my problem: I'm not sure if I have the mental nor intellect capability of achieving my desired mark. It's very important because this course will decide whether or not I will get into university or not. I will need at least 70%, which the program I am interested, is asking.

I'm scared because throughout all my high school life, I've been taking the community college english stream from grades 9 to 11 (currently taking the gr 12 one right now). Now I'm about to transition from college level to university level English! A huge skill cap between the two. From my past experience, college english didn't prepare me for anything. All I did was sit around, read a elementary school leveled book and answered a bunch of dumb questions related to the book. It didn't increase my english level whatsoever. I'm I doomed?

So how can I prepare myself in this short period of time?
It would be nice if you give me some suggestions on my training. My writing, reading, and etc skills are average at best, maybe even below average. Help.

Thanks in advance

Here's course outline for the course. So I guess my school is similar to this one. Do you think I can do it?
