Strategy: Shutdown. The first time there's been a ridiculously easy, game breaking skip in a Halo game. The bridge jump and Keyes shield bump actually took skill. Even the forklift skip wasn't something you could do on your first try.
Tricking: Dawn, Midnight. Not much to do on Dawn. Complete casual catering, linear -blam!-. On Legendary, Dawn could use a lot of changes (like the opening being a cutscene, the QTE being a cutscene or absent, the melee QTE being a cutscene or absent). Look at CE PoA. You didn't have to melee the door open on Legendary. You didn't get surprised by an Elite on Legendary. And you didn't have to sit around and wait for the stupid hatch to open up.
As for Midnight, box launching is sooo pathetically inferior to Halo 3's.
Exploring: Requiem, Infinity. Requiem's out of map is largely unrendered. Infinity's out of map is severely limited.
Collecting marines: Infinity. The marines at the holdout battle are destined to die and don't even follow you if you save them. What a bunch of ungrateful -blam!-s.
Setup: Requiem. Only 2 checkpoints to utilize for the Elite snipers easter egg.
"Epic" level: Reclaimer. It's underwhelming.
"Hog" run: Forerunner, Midnight. It's not fun to get slowed down because you clipped the Ghost's wing on one of the jutting rocks. And I'm actually thankful it's possible to escape the Broadsword run so early.
I've had some pretty bad experiences on Requiem, but my least favorite level as a gamer would be Dawn and my least favorite level as a Halo enthusiast would be Infinity.
