For those of you that have played both or either of the big Skyrim DLCs, which one did you like best? Would you recommend the one that you played? I am considering buying one of them, but can't make up my mind. I didn't play Morrowind, so I'm hesitant about Dragonborn because I'm not big on remakes (alright, alright - ignore that statement...).

So which do you think is the better DLC - Dawnguard or Dragonborn?

Dragonborn isn't a remake...

Dragonborn, because there's a whole new island to explore.

I liked Dragonborn because I don't care about vampires and werewolves.

I was under the assumption that it was in the same locations as the Morrowind game

I'm the cult of personality,
I call it like i see it, if i feel the need to be blunt and to the point, then i will, if i feel the need to be very detailed, i will, im here to stay and im here to do things my way, if you respect that or not is your choice, not mine,
and don't worry, while i don't agree with everyone's opinion, i do respect everyone's opinion.

1: Dragonborn wasn't a remake.

2: Dragonborn wins, no contest.

That's a shame to hear, actually! I kind of was hoping for Morrowind in high-def graphics. Oh well, at least that one village is still there, I think?

actualy it kinda feels like that, it has a very big morrowind vibe to it Oh well, at least that one village is still there, I think?lots of key locations are back, fort frostmoth, skaal village, thirsk mead hall, raven rock, castle karstaag etc etc.

I would say Dragonborn. The location and classic music are awesome. The quests kept me interested and it added some nice new features to the game.

Welcome, welcome to city 17...

dawnguard was fun, but it can't come close to comparing to dragonborn

  • 12.15.2012 9:10 PM PDT

Though the morrow may be barren of promises, nothing shall forstall my return.

I'll say Dragonborn. Dawnguard was fun, but it was short. The only thing you really get from it are werewolf/vampire lord perks, crossbow, and a follower that cannot die. There are a few more things to get, but these I found were the best. Dragonborn is longer because it has more area to explore, more armor/weapons, and more quests both in side and main. Overall I found Dragonborn more fun.
