This is what happens in a society where mental healthcare is more expensive than a gun.
I agree.

And not just because you have the same avatar as me.

Gun control action...will inevitably not happen, sadly.

This is why, I prefer not to live in America.
Heavier gun control would do almost nothing besides fuel illegal sales like bootlegging in the 1900s.

I heard someone say once (paraphrasing here) "Multiflag on Blood Gulch with your friends is what makes Halo, Halo." I GUARANTEE that more people agree with that sentiment than "Getting a 50 in MLG is what makes Halo, Halo." - Oboewan42

In memory of those fallen in the defense of Earth and her colonies.

March 3, 2553

And these are American citizens doing this? And not the Taliban? I would be very worried for your country.

Because organised crime gangs that sell drugs/illegal weapons are comrised completely of people suffering mental illnesses that go into schools and massacre children. Completely...

Not true.

Shootings still occur (there's actually a double-homicide in the news right now), but the last massacre of people by someone with a firearm brought in those gun control laws (which was nearly twenty years ago). Since then there hasn't been anywhere near such a massive loss of life.

And to the best of my knowledge, there has never been a shooting at a primary or secondary school in Australia.

Talking about Sweden is an ultrabannable offense.

Too bad being completely and utterly wrong isn't a bannable offense.

As Dazza said, we get shootings. We get drive-bys, armed robberies, and homicides.

But isn't that what everyone always points out will happen anyway?

At least we haven't had a massacre since 1996.

Yes, shooting occur. But they are usually crime related and such. So...you know.

Maybe it's unrelated to gun laws. Maybe people down here aren't as cray cray.

Maybe. But I still think no one should have such tools of death at their disposal. Or at least assault weapons.

And how did you find out about this homicide? Unless you are Australian. Which makes sense.

His name is dazzarobbo. How does that not scream 'Australian'?

And I believe it's both. We don't have a gun culture in Australia, and we have very good control and regulation as well. Guns are what you use to shoot rabbits, not people.

We still have nutters like Bob Kata trying to free up gun restrictions so we can protect ourselves from the Indonesian Invasion, though.

Wait that link is broken...
