Subject: Favorite video game?

I know everything, I've just forgotten most of it.

Also, my XBL Gamertag is 'Wenggh', not 'A Stolen Fruit'.

Fine, but I didn't feel like thinking too hard on this. Here are my top 5 in order:
1. Halo 3
2. Pokémon (FireRed, Emerald, HeartGold, Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team, or Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Darkness)
3. Super Mario 64 DS
4. Yoshi's Island
5. The Orange Box

The Legend of Zelda:Ocarina of Time. Why? May just be nostalgia, but I remember everything about that game amazing me and mystifying me when I was younger. The moments that were supposed to feel epic did, the ones that were supposed to feel eerie did, the moments that were supposed to feel rewarding did. Like I said, maybe its just nostalgia, or maybe it was because I was just a kid, but the only games that ever even came close to giving me the same kinda joy as that game were Morrowind(much later of course) and The Legend of Zelda:Majora's Mask. "Sigh", people just don't make games that get the feelings of your environment across like they used to nor do they make games with charming surroundings like they used to. Maybe one day I'll come across another game like those, or perhaps create my own...

A competitive players main goal is to win.
A casuals main goal is to have fun regardless of whether that results in a win or loss.
It has nothing to do with individual skill or knowledge, it has to do with the reason you play.

I can't decide between Metal Gear Solid and Final Fantasy VII.

in·dif·fer·ence
the fact or state of being indifferent; lack of care or concern and empathy demonstrated by an absence of emotional reactions.

Doom. Specifically the PSX port. So much atmosphere and an awsome soundtrack. Still play it to this day.

Silent hill 2 comes a very close second due to similar reasons.

Online Gaming's pretty much like a zombie movie. There are a lot of mindless idiots roaming around but you find some survivors on the way.

OP specified to pick a single game, but what the hell.

- Star Wars Battlefront II

- Rayman 2

- Halo 3

- Gears of War 2

- Assassins Creed Brotherhood

- Skyrim

- Just Cause 2

- Crash Bandicoot Tag Team Racing

- Red Dead Redemption

- Batman Arkham City

- Saints Row 2

- Amazing Spider-Man on the PS1

That's about it I think. There were a few PS1 games from my childhood, but they've faded from my memory.

I hate MLP. It is cancerous and pretty stupid to see men watching a show for girls. They can deny the truth but the truth shall prevail!

I have a 60GB PS3, so I can still play my old PS2 games. I go back and play them every so often, and they're still as good as I remember.

Pokemon Ruby. Game of my childhood. Never have I had half as much fun exploring a world, and never has any other game given me half the challenge and satisfaction.
