For the past few weeks whenever I put new batteries in my controller they die within minutes. Last night I put some brand new energizers in it, turned it on for 3 minutes to select a Netflix movie, and it was at half. Now the controller won't power on because they are dead.

This certainly isn't normal, but it happens with every controller I try. Does this happen to anyone else?

Why don't you just get a charge kit instead of buying new batteries all the time?

Wired > wireless.

*Put vibration OFF
*Remove your mic and don't use it.

If the power still drains, the controller's bust, buy a new one.

Or get rechargeable batteries and switch them every so often

Are you sure the battery case is not just coming loose at the back? I've had that happen, but if you tape it so it's sealed batteries seem to last longer... 0.o
